Pittsburgh Concert Chorale
Our Mission
The mission of the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale is:
- To enhance the quality of life of greater Pittsburgh by involving the community in musical performances.
- To prepare and perform a variety of music at a level of excellence that is rewarding and satisfying to the audience and to the performers.
- To continue to improve the quality, variety and versatility of our singers and concerts.
- To expand to serve diverse audiences throughout greater Pittsburgh.
Our Music
The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale has grown to a 90-member ensemble of volunteer singers from the greater Pittsburgh area. The chorus presents a three-program season of varied music each year, including a holiday program in December, a major classical work with soloists and professional orchestra in March, and a pops program with prominent local artists in May.
The Chorale also is committed to singer training and holds periodic workshops with guest coaches and conductors.
